I've just started a series of robot inspired artwork and was brainstorming when this whimsical idea popped into my head, a robot becoming incredibly frustrated while trying to solve a rubik's cube.
 Made in Gimp 2.4.7 with a Wacom Bamboo Fun tablet (don't let the name fool ya, its a really great drawing tablet) Sketched it out, then painted it in subsequent layers and used a gradient fill for the background. Nothing too crazy. I could have cleaned this up but I like the rough sketchy look for this piece. |
